My favorite time of year! 🙂 The leaves are showing off their beautiful colors as we transition from Summer to Autumn. In our new home, I am still lucky enough to enjoy beautiful varieties of birds and other critters while soaking in the crisp air. I love it! And this is also a time when the veil is the thinnest. Connecting or reconnecting with our ancestors and loved ones are made easier at this time. Take advantage of the natural connection you can make, if you so desire. 🙂
My 200-hr. Yoga Teacher Training is finally ready for it’s own unveiling! Come check it out at the beautiful Bija Institute in Cumberland, RI beginning November 13th. Another YOGA Class Update for you: I am now offering another new Warm Vinyasa Yoga Flow class Tuesday evenings at 5:30p.m., located in Smithfield, RI at Twisted Triangle! The studio is ginormous and beautiful! It’s located in the same building with Crossfit on Rt. 116. In addition to teaching at Twisted Triangle I am still teaching over at NRG Lab in Mansfield, MA from 5:30a.m. to 6:30a.m. (members only) and every Saturday morning (except the last Saturday of the month) at SBB in Walpole, MA from 8a.m. to 9:15a.m. ($10 for members & $20 for non-members), I am blessed to be teaching yoga at these new locations. I do hope to see you there if you are local to the area! 🙂

Inspire You Article
In a full moon meditation Sunday night, I was struck with the beautiful energy of the space at All Things Magickal and the amazing clear energy Tracy provides for her groups. The energy space she holds there is truly grounding, centering and connecting for me. It’s a safe sacred space; my home away from home. The goal of the evening was to remove something that was holding you back from prosperity, etc. Before I received the strong message that I was actually the one holding myself back, I received another strong message that stayed with me throughout the entire night and since. It was a reminder of a “beginners mind”. To take myself back once again (and again and again) to that space of core authentic Self aka truth. And I share with you now, so that you too see the true light inside yourself.
To remember that the worries of the future are just that, just worries. And I especially know that worry only begets more worry and I will attract that which I think and feel. Thoughts = energy and energy manifests. Beginners mind takes me back to myself once again. To not be judgmental of others or myself. To know I really don’t know. I can have the intention of knowing the bigger picture, the forest for the trees, but even then I can’t possibly know ALL in this reality we live. We’re not meant to know all, but rather connect to All and feel that truth inside of us once again.
I had begun taking on other people stuff as my own (especially those closest to me) even though I logically know better! It was an unconscious taking on of their issues; rather than allowing them to take their path as they choose. I was taking others stuff perhaps as a way to control the situation with the full intention of healing, but instead should have allowed them their path and not worried so much. I need to trust that they will get back on their path in their own time and their own way. And I need to trust that if they don’t, that is their choice. Instead, just send love and allow healing to again be up to them. It’s their path – their choice always. We have free will and choose our life.
In this allowing state of being there is NO judgment here. Only the Divine. I feel my Crown Chakra happily opening to this truth. Just truth. I bow to the light within each of you and honor your path as I honor my own. Taking a deep cleansing breath here; we flow with the waves of life.
My other strong message was that I had gotten out of my femininity; my Goddess-self. I fell into a pattern of only taking action and was not centered in allowing once again. There must be balance with both action and inaction, masculine and feminine, yin and yang, etc. The more I can embrace my feminine side; the allowing flows; the power within flows and it just IS. And I just AM. I can’t quite articulate the powerful message and connection I received that night, however this knowing is so very healing.
I took a nice walk the next day in nature with my hubby who is fantastic as articulating what I want to say when I can’t quite find the words. Another healing step in connecting me and us!
For me right now, it’s owning my power of femininity. (Fast caveat reminder here: yes, it’s masculine AND feminine.) The power of sending things out there energetically and allowing the universe to fully support what IS and what will be. Allowing it to come but knowing either way, I am supported. Trust. The strong undercurrent message is also, that being me is beautiful. Being okay with being me; truly authentically, centered and balanced me. Being okay with that, with my power, allows me to express myself more meaningfully, authentically and that brings more mmph to my “punch” aka my creations. Living life truly awake and out loud!
I pray you always know the truth and light that dwells within each and everyone of you.

I am currently reading your eBook, but I have a question. I have been told by many people that I am what they call a cane for the spirits and that I am light for them. At first I was not sure what that meant, but ever since I was little I could sense things, kinda weird feeling. I can feel when someone is in my home, I don’t see them but I can feel them, I can also hear noises. I have weird dreams of people I don’t know. I wish I could just open up to see what they want from me. Spirits always look for me I just don’t know how to help them. Please help me.
Thank you for emailing. Many people go through what you are going through. It’s a challenging path, but you can gain some sort of clarity if you so choose.
We are all connected and some folks come into this life with the gift of connected with soul’s more easily than others. Sometimes it’s takes a little work and other times it’s about setting up your boundaries first and then working in a way that is of love and light.
You happen to be a beacon of light for the Other Side. That’s amazing! A gift you can choose to do something with or not. It really is up to you. Perhaps a path you chose in order to help spirits get their message across to loved ones and to help them cross over to the Other Side completely. Spirits hang around from time to time when they feel they have a message for someone in the living, or feel they need to stay to ensure a loved one’s safety or again perhaps they don’t know they crossed over because it was so unexpected or traumatic. There are many reasons, but you can help.
By enhancing your ability to connect to the unseen world, you can help others in crossing over and feeling like they were heard. To do this, meditation is number one on the list. As you meditate you become a clearer channel for the Spirit, but also a clearer channel for yourself in living your life more authentically and in a higher vibration.
The more you can raise your vibration (through meditation, thinking and living positively, etc.) the better boundaries you can set up energetically to only attract higher vibrational beings and experiences. This helps you to disconnect from the Other Side when you choose, so you are not just an “open channel” for anything that wants to come in and connect. You want to be able to have balance in your life and live here in this world while taking the time to assist the non-corporeal folks when you can.

Yoga Pose of the Month

Inversions are especially great for going inward. To assist you in going inward more deeply, I have chosen an inverted yoga pose. There were so many, it was hard to choose. I was going to go with a Forward Fold or Downward facing dog, but am really in a relaxing mood right now and decided to go with Child’s pose, Balasana. This is a fantastic pose for going inward. It releases the low back and relaxes the shoulders and entire body while quieting the mind to open up to peace and truth. This is a nice yin pose to help relax you after an active yang yoga practice or to simply practice all on its own. During a yoga class your teacher will guide you to utilize this pose whenever you feel the need for rest or do not want to participate in the current pose.
Directions on how to come into the pose:
From Table pose allow your hips to fall back to your heels, resting on the tops of your feet. Lower your head to the mat, resting your forehead on the mat. Extend your arms out for an active cat stretch. Or you can either stack your hands on top of each other and rest your head on your hands or bring your hands to your sides, palms up while resting your forehead on your mat. If you find it’s a bit hard to breathe here take your knees wide to open the lungs. Take a deep breath. Fill your lungs with breath. Feel the awareness of your breath expanding your back in and out as you breathe. Then just relax and let go. Hold this pose for as long as feels comfortable and then come up slowly and gently. From here you can sit up or lay down for a nice longer meditation.
When not to do this pose or to modify / Contraindications:
Knee injuries or pregnancy. If pregnant you can take this pose as a frog pose instead, where you spread your bent legs wide allowing space for the growing baby in your belly. As always, listen to the wisdom of your body.
