A Time of Gratitude and Appreciation. At the beginning of the yoga classes I teach, we always set an intention for our practice. This week’s theme is all about gratitude and appreciation. Find that one thing you are grateful for right now. Even begin a practice of writing down three things you are grateful for every day for 21 days. This retrains your brain to be in that grateful mindset. As you bring your awareness to appreciation and gratitude, you uplift your energy; your vibration. From this place of uplifted frequencies, you attract that to your life. Like energy attracts like energy. You’ll be attracting more experiences and people of gratitude and appreciation. These are high frequencies closest to Love and Light frequencies. A great place to feel, be and live.

Inspire You Article
There is Always Magick if You Listen

There are always things to DO. Much of our lives is filled with action and a lot of DOing; but we have to balance it out with times of BEing as well. When I fall back into unconscious being I tend to overeat (a problem I had a long time ago that got me over 225 pounds but I woke up and got my mind, body & soul in better alignment with spirit). Other people have their own things that rear its ugly head on them as well. It’s not about scolding yourself when it happens. It’s about bringing your awareness back to the moment. Realizing its happening; waking up to it.
Breathe into it again with deeper awareness and suddenly you are awake again. Peace is here. Allow that to come back to the forefront. Most important first is stillness and being. Connect to the light inside. It’s always there, always untouched by the outside world. Come to life from here. Live life from here. Live life in light.
A lesson I am constantly learning is that my peace is not dependent on another’s peace and contentment. I’m a work in progress. 🙂 But when I get it, I am free again. The weight lifted off my shoulders. I do my best to spread light and if it helps others – awesome! And if not I did my part by just being light. I must then surrender. It’s their choice to stay in light and peace or hold on to whatever negative emotion they are holding onto. But I can’t hold their stuff. It’s not mine. As a parent that is more challenging and often easier said than done. But we try. We breathe. We let go. The intention at least! So I surrender like a flowing river.
As I write this I’m walking in nature on a beautiful warm autumn day in New England. The sun shining, a light breeze; breathing in the fresh air. There is space between the breeze. There is magic in nature and even more so felt when you can get quiet with for a while and just listen. Then go deeper. Come to the awareness of being aware. A beautiful energetic crown chakra opening flows from this awareness.
As often as you can, take some time and meditate to reconnect with your own peace and light inside. May you always know the peace that dwells here.

Thank you for your email and interest in my classes and books! I’m so happy that my book helped you! My goal was exactly that – to make it clear, down-to-earth and easy to understand.
Right now, my classes are not offered online. One of my goals for 2017 is to get these up online and till I can do that I am debating offering them via Skype or similar resource. You are not the first person to ask, so I am being guided divinely to get this moving for all who will benefit. The Divine is always giving us gentle nudges of guidance and sometimes those little nudges become big ones. What we do with that guidance is up to us. I do my best to listen and follow what feels true and authentic for me and my Soul.
Through technology and the internet, we are all able to connect no matter where we are in the world. Video’s, Facetime and live video feeds are the way of the present and future. This truly allows my spiritual services and classes to be offered for anyone anywhere who is interested and in need! I am so very grateful. Now, to expand my abilities to do just that. A bit of a learning curve, but very possible!

Yoga Pose of the Month
Humble Warrior (Bound Warrior)

Humble Warrior is one of my most favorite poses! I do this pose in most of my Vinyasa Yoga Flow classes. I just love it. As you flow down and bow in reverence, you are bowing to & honoring the Divine within. Go inward. Breathe deeply.
This is a great pose to tap into Ojjayi breathing (Ocean Breath) as you hold this pose for 5 long breaths. I love to visualize my breath as white light energy flowing to that front thigh that is being tapped into for strength and stability. As you tap into the power of your breath, your prana life force energy, it allows you to hold such poses longer and come into and out of poses with more ease and more grace.
Physically, this is an intense stretch for the hips, shoulders and chest. You are strengthening the legs, thigh, quads and glutes as well.
Directions on how to come into the pose:
From Warrior I with arms in the sky, inhale elongate, exhale bring hands behind your back, interlacing fingers or thumbs (visual example of this to the right). Open your heart, shoulder blades in towards the spine, gaze forward or up, gentle backbend here if you choose.
From here, inhale lengthen the spine once again and exhale down, hinge at the hips lowering your entire upper body down, while either keeping hands on your lower back or reaching up and away from your back for a deeper shoulder stretch. Bow to the Divine within. Breathe deeply.
Be mindful here: Try not to grip with the toes, feel all four corners of your feet planted into the Earth. With good foundation and alignment you can more easily express outwardly in every pose. Hold for at least 5 deep cleansing breaths.
To come out: Release arms down as you inhale and lift your upper body up, reaching arms back up to the sky in Warrior I. Bring palms together at your heart for Namaste. Take a Vinyasa flow (Plank pose, Chaturanga, backbend of your choice, Downward facing dog) and go to the other side!
When not to do this pose or to modify/Contraindications:
High blood pressure, Heart problems, those with shoulder problems should keep their arms on their back while hands are clasped or release the clasp and lower to the mat. Listen to your body. Those with neck problems should keep their head in a neutral position and not bowing down too much.
