Blue Moon. On the last day in July we experienced the beautiful energy of a Blue Moon. This is when two full moons happen in one month. I felt myself coming back into my true self during and after this full moon. A combination of me being ready and the Universe’s energy I’m sure. I tend to have more energy when the moon is waxing and on the full moon day. We all work differently and it’s nice to get present with yourself and see where your peaks and valleys are in energy. This helps us to schedule clients and other activities appropriately for us as an individual. Even then, we can’t always plan everything. As they say, “God laugh’s when we make plans.” Or something to that affect.
Energies up next, for tomorrow: “August 8 each year (8:8), our Earth’s Crystalline Field, aligns with the Galactic Centre and Sirius… PLUS… 2015 is an ‘8 year in numerology’, thus this year marks a rare portal of amplified potential (8:8:8). During this annual 8:8 Portal, streams of Galactic Waves of LOVE are transmitted from the Galactic Centre, through Sirius and into Earth. These cosmic vibrations potentiate our DNA expression, awaken our psychic & intuitive gifts and helps us to re-remember our SOUL origins and sacred divinity on a deep and profound level.” ~ Universal Life Tools
That being said, in June my computer died and set me back almost a years’ worth of files (including website pages and my Yoga Teacher Training manual). Ho hum. What can you do but roll with the punches and see if there was a Divine reason behind it and if not, then see how your Spirit shines during challenging situations…right! 🙂 Of course, it was a lesson for me to listen to those whispers (as usual). I received the intuition to save my files in a back-up folder. I had done that back in 2014 and slacked off till my computer’s hard drive quit for good. I’m back up and running and recovering files I had stored online for my website at least (thank goodness). I’ll get back into my Yoga Teacher Training manual someday when the time provides, hopefully soon! Needless to say I am backing up almost every day now! Learning my lesson (again) teehee. 🙂 Another of many reasons why it’s been two months since I’ve sent out my newsletter.
Summer is a time of rest and rejuvenation so I am hoping you are all doing well and enjoying summer (if you are in the northern hemisphere). Take the time and give yourself permission to rest. We all need balance and rest is a part of that! Enjoy, have fun and get back into your energy with renewed fullness.

Yoga Pose of the Month
Half Standing Forward Bend
Sanskrit: Ardha Uttanasana
Photo of Maggie Anderson taken by Maggie Anderson
at Humble Warrior in Walpole, MA
Half Standing Forward Bend is most commonly practice in the traditional Sun Salutation sequence. First you will come into a Forward Fold and then come up halfway to prepare, offering your heart. This is a wonderful reminder of posture and a way to expand your lungs taking a nice inhale.
This pose is great for our back torso as well as our belly. In this pose, we are stretching the front torso, strengthening the back and improving our posture, as well as stimulating the belly.
Directions on how to come into the pose:
Stand in Standing Forward Bend with your feet together or walking distance apart, inhale and lift your upper body up halfway by pressing your palms or fingertips into the floor in front of or beside your feet; or modify by placing your hands on your shins (or blocks on the floor). Straightening your elbows and arching your torso away from your thighs, finding as much length between your pubic bone and navel as possible, spine naturally straight. Lift your sternum up away from the floor and forward, offering your heart. You may desire bending your knees to modify and assist in a more aligned straight back. Gaze slightly forward and prepare (never compressing the back of your neck, but rather keeping it long and free).
Hold the position for a few breaths. Then, with an exhale, release your torso into full Forward Fold.
When not to do this pose or to modify/Contraindications:
If you have a neck injury, be sure not to lift the head to look forward in this pose.

Inspire You Article
Lately, I’ve also noticed a bit more rage going on energetically. It’s about when we are ready to release things and how much. It’s like that onion Shrek (kids movie) likes to talk about. Onions are layered. So, too, is how we process things and become more of the Light Being that we are. It happens in layers. We receive a challenge. We face this challenge. We get over it. We rest and move on. We think it’s over, but then we face more of that same challenge at a new level till it’s truly tackled. So we dive deep into ourselves during these challenges. We dive deeper and deeper each time till we’ve come to a finish and begin anew. Then we can come at it in a teaching fashion.
Recently, I was talking with a friend of mine about rage. She was going through a lot of rage regarding her past and decades of family abuse. I’m sure there was and is a lot of emotions unprocessed and repressed over the years that need to be released. What frustrated her was she thought she was done processing and had moved on. Then more came up. I get that!
And like I said, we release. Rest. Release. Rest some more. Release some more until we’ve gotten to the core true essence and let it all go.
Rage is this annoying overwhelming and often debilitating emotion. It’s an outburst of energy through emotion. A release of pent up emotion. It’s a feel that can occur when we are repressing the soul. Sometimes rage is all about resisting. Resisting something in your life and usually frustration over something you can’t control. And sometimes it’s resisting something you know you have to do regarding a challenge but you don’t do what you know you have to do. So you’re stuck. Rage may occur as a result of this resistance.
Surrender is a good quick tip for this. Succumb to it and release it in healthy ways. Do what you are resisting you know you should do. Play it out in your mind how it will go when you do this solution. Visualization is powerful! Visualization has also been proven to assist in improvement in playing sports activities. So allow visualization to assist you energetically in tackling this rage emotion and challenge! It’s often not as bad as we make it out to be once we follow through. And for those situations where there really is no solution, we must find a way to accept whatever is happening.
Rage is an emotion to be honored. It’s a way to learn that something is happening. But it, too, is a great way to release frustrations; as long as you don’t wallow in it. Give it its time due, release it and let go. We do not need to continue to hurt ourselves by holding on to anger anymore. Detach and let it go finally.
Scream in a pillow. Cry. Vent to a friend or write about it in a journal. Talk it out with the parties its rooted from is sometimes helpful and sometimes more flabbergasting. Each situation is different.
Rage has a purpose. Ask yourself, consciously why are you feeling this way. Truly get present with it. Don’t ignore it. That will only cause the fire to fester. Ask you higher self ‘why this is happening’. Usually the first thing that pops in is the right answer. Take yourself out of the situation as much as possible.
Meditate right away. Breathe deeply. Then continue to sit with it as a witness. Observe more knowing’s that pop up. Dive deeper into a peaceful place. Ask your Angels and God/Divine to join you in your exploration.
Find yourself in a safe sacred energetic place where you can ask your higher self/Angels/God the questions you need to get you to let go of this challenge you are facing that is causing this rage.
Once you handle it the rage transmutes into peace. If you ignore it, it will build and often turn into depression and other negative emotions till you are ready to make the conscious switch inside to connect, be awake, do the work and live life in the flow. Ride those waves and enjoy all that life brings.
One of the best ways to face something is to help someone else through that SAME thing and take your own advice in the process. In other words, if you want to learn something, take a class. If you want to master it, teach it. 🙂 This article can help me as much as you!!
Something else to note is there has been an influx of energy shifts and releases. This has brought more to the surface faster to be released.
If you are going through this right now, be grateful you are ready to release more of this ick and get on with an amazing rest of your life even more divinely connected. The more your process the higher your frequencies and deeper your connections become. You will get through it.
You process, you talk about it, you get introspective, you take the witness stance by taking a step back, watching what’s happening as if from the outside for a clearer view. Then you move on.
God is the magic within it ALL. And God is the magic beneath as well. Something Matt Kahn likes to say is: “Whatever arises…love that.” It’s all energy and that energy can be transmuted into ‘good’ or neutral energy! Transmute the rage to love. “What arises…love that”, Matt Kahn wisely states. Love the rage. Wisdom comes. Love the person(s) bringing you the challenge that caused the rage. See the light within. And shine your light even brighter because you see the truth at a deeper level.
Dive deeper and find the stillness/peace/divine light within. It’s always there. Always untouched by the outer world. It’s the peace we can always come to especially in those moments and especially now.
THINGS YOU CAN DO
Rage tends to come up as big screaming sign from the Universe to MEDITATE ASAP and more often than you had been. For me, it has been a signal from the Universe to meditate more. Hear the whispers!!
I noticed I was actually consciously (for the most part) filling every space in my life with noise. But now that I am getting quiet again…listening…it’s all light, a good uplifting and connected feeling again.
But previously the rage would build up, due to my ignoring the quiet my soul desperately needed/needs every day. Yes, everyday! There are things you can do to actively get started on the road to peace once again. The follow are a few action steps to consciously enthusiastically take and play with in the present moment. And more will come to you that will work uniquely for you and your soul:
• Turning off the radio in the car helped
• Passing up TV for a meditation instead
(plenty meditations on YouTube or just serene music or silence)
• Being outside in nature more often
• Honoring my voice
• Speaking my mind when I need to
• Gratitude: Appreciating nature, elements, butterflies, my life, etc.
• Surrender. Accept the present moment as it is.
• Don’t resist the rage but release it. Let it out and let it go to move on.
While listening to the wind out in nature today on my walk, it felt better than any song I was going to put on my phone during my walk. I received the knowing that when I took up these practicing and more, my vibration healed. I felt once again in alignment with Source (and that I must keep this up daily!). I felt/feel a deep connection like no other. I/We are never alone; Light-filled always.
May you, too, align with your deepest/highest Self and Divine Source. Enjoy living in the present moment. 🙂
May you always know the peace that dwells within,

Hello…try for your help… I hear and feel too many things.. My wonderful Spirit or Soul Sister is dying…I can’t deal with much more pain…I am usually the strong one in all situations and after losing my best friends sister to suicide in December I hold much sadness… Always pray and surround myself and my home with white light…another friend is fighting brain cancer…I’m in tears much more than I ever was before… Would only cry twice a year…can’t figure out how to be strong and there for everyone…I am a fighter …a rainbow warrior if you like… Native… Adopted…Always felt different and have had many experiences…figured out much of it from living and surviving it… Any ideas…I’m exhausted and grieving losses that are very close to occurring…any help or advice I’d be very grateful for… Try…and no …I have no access to a Shaman… Adopted… But I need one bad!
It’s been a crazy 2015. This year is proving to be a challenging one for many. But we are never thrown into the fire without our protector’s shields on. You are a warrior by heart and soul and you can handle this. You will survive. Loss is hard for us all. It brings up the questions of the afterlife and even for us believers with a MOUNTAIN OF PROOF on our side, there’s usually a little 1% doubt in there somewhere that we are unsure if we will meet that person again. We will, but the doubt contributes to our grieving process a bit.
But it’s a good thing. We must hit the lowest of lows. From there we sore from the fire like a phoenix rising from the ashes. (Mind you, I don’t usually speak like this. It’s definitely a channeled message specifically for you.)
Take this beautiful message and know you are meant to grow from this experience, help other people survive it as well and know, too, deeper bonds are in store for you with a few more kindred spirits. This friend of yours is with you now, guiding you and helping you through your grief.
We grieve…and with time……we move on. But we never forget. We are always connected. And you will enjoy deeper connections to spirit and the energies right here on Earth for you and us all. Have you read my Empath’s article? You may find some relief with some of the exercises I explain in there since you are such a sponge for the energies around you.
Here’s the article: MaggiesBliss.com/offerings/surviveempath/. I hope it helps. May you find peace.
It is my desire and intention always that you take away from my newsletter feelings of empowerment, aliveness, divine connection and peace. May You Always Know the Peace that Dwells Within.
