Yay, Spring is HERE! (For most of us in North America. We happen to be getting a snow storm on Sunday here in the northeast, the official day Spring begins. Fun. 😉 I have been feeling the beautiful energy building from spring coming, the full moon on the 23rd and also within a magical group I have joined with SageGoddess.com. We have been doing some amazing work. And the facilitator, Athena, has been amazing with her creativity, knowledge and wisdom.
I’ve been making good progress on my yoga poses page! Several new poses have been added. I’m still keeping my old website active till I get them all in! And I’m happy to share that instructing Yoga at Crossfit LifeBlood has been an amazing and fun experience thus far! Here’s a couple of pictures . 🙂 Transforming this amazing gym into a peaceful yoga space for one hour of bliss for all. My hubby was able to make it to my class last Sunday and had the best analogy. He said he felt like a steam roller rolled over him and reset his body from head to toe. That is so perfect for how I feel after yoga! I hope to see you there.

Recently, people have been seeking me out requesting ways to get out of the ick and into the peaceful amazing feeling they feel when there are at their best. This article is truly for you, if you desire such an experience! We all deserve it. You deserve it. It’s time. The energy of the new season will assist you in this!
This past weekend I was re-introduced to the Flower of Life through the magical group I have joined through SageGoddess.com facilitated by the amazing Athena. The Flower of Life is mmmm…ahhh… so cool! I used to have this all over my old website and found there was no room on my new one, but in this newsletter, I get to honor the Flower of Life permanently, teehee. Just viewing the Flower of Life connects you. Drawing it connects you. Visualizing it connects you. Meditating with it connects you.
The Flower of Life is made up of 13 circles or spheres (some fascinating reading here and you can find TONS of information on the Flower of Life online). I love that it has 13 since that number (along with 7) calls to me. I was born on the 13th and constantly see that number everywhere. It is the number of transformation (a death of one thing and birth of new, etc.). The flower of life is in everything: you, me, crystals and stones, computers, walls, etc. Everything. It IS creation.
Now, getting back to my recent meditation with this mystical group, we focused on the Flower of Life among other things and Athena discussed her own amazing experiences with it as well. Just being in close proximity to someone coming back from very high vibrations like that truly asks our soul to match that vibration. We called in Goddess Artemis for intense focus. My meditation was amazing and took me on a journey through my very own intention for my yoga & wellness space as well as the deepest authentic desire I have within me, which is “peace/connection to Source/high vibrational energy/serenity through being in this high vibration always” and then sharing that with those drawn to my space and services. I saw myself within a sacred space where I was glowing gold and being lifted off the ground with a golden energy lifting me up. I was lifted up so high to my very core true center/Source that for the first time, tears were flowing down my face. I was shocked. I’ve been emotional during meditation before, felt amazing, been blissful but tears of bliss was new. And pretty darn cool I might add.
This is more proof that time and space is of no essence. This meditation was all online and I had to watch it two days after she was live and I still felt it like I was in the room with her at the exact time she did the meditation. So amazing!
After the meditation I was vibrating so high. The highest I’ve ever felt in this life thus far; the same and probably higher. This lasted for days! It comes and goes now, but I remember to be diligent with my energy. As I’ve said many times, we are creating whether we are conscious of it or not.
So here’s what you do. After the meditation, I asked my Husband what was the time when he felt the highest vibration. Like the highest of high. Of course, for him being a drummer it was after an intense drumming session. Music is magical. Here’s why I mention this. When you remember, your brain remembers how you felt. It truly seeks out this feeling! And it comes close to or exact to what you felt at that moment. Your brain doesn’t register past and future. Just present.
So think on the highest most amazing feeling and you’re truly there. I’ve been doing this and it CLEARS my energy! When the sun isn’t shining, I tap into remembering when I sun gaze and how that felt. It comes darn close to when I actually do it. When I feel like my energy needs a boost, I remember this meditation I did with Athena and my magical group. It truly works. I am living proof.
We are powerful. We can pull the ENERGY TO and THROUGH US. We are the conduit of our life. We create our reality this way. Truly amazing. Goes right back to the basics of the Laws of the Universe. Read my Law of Attraction article for a bit more or learn more by reading my books too! I’m still vibing high. I replayed and did the meditation again because it’s amazing. When you find that thing that gets you to your highest vibration, seek it out, embrace it, enjoy it and expand your life to all possibilities. Be diligent with your energy. Yes, take time to rest and rejuvenate in a peaceful positive ways, but then be sure you are mindful of what you are thinking and feeling. Thoughts equal emotion and emotion equals energy. Continue daily Chakra meditations to clear your Aura and Chakras (can even be 10 minutes, no long at all.) And seek out that which is your deepest more true you. We are spiritual beings living this human experience. Enjoy it!

Life is sooo fleeting. We think we have time. We all do. You gotta be you and I gotta be me. I’m not perfect. I’m still figuring it out. But I’m going to keep reaching.
The flower of life is so amazing. Now, when I do energy healing I’m seeing it in the energy and in the people. I feel a connection even deeper to energy and the Universe. Practice with it and you’ll see too. Have an amazing Flower of Life Life! Teehee.

Hi..I have experience a lot of heavy energy in my home lately. I ‘m not sure if it is from lingering spirits that has not crossed over or what? I don’t mind helping them, but the way it has taken over my home and children not to mention how its making me feel very yucky/horrible, loss of weight, makes it all the more reason why I would like to get ride of them. If you have any advice, I would be greatly appreciated…
Often when opening up psychically we tend to attract everything. I am unsure if you are wanting to open up to them or if this is the spiritual connection we naturally have and can enhance as we meditating and focus, etc.
For energies in your home, please go to my page on protection to find assistance in how to Smudge/Sage your home (link is below). This should be done weekly or monthly and whenever you feel the energies have had a dip or surge of some sort (emotional upheavals or if you just feel it needs it).
Also, energy is attracted to like energy. So if we find ourselves in a low mood, thinking negatively, jealous or fear, this will attract that type of energy and sometimes entities of the same energy. We attract that which we are. Please read the below article on Energy Vampires and Entity Attachments, what they are and how to handle your energies to uplift yourself and attract uplifting energies instead.
How to Smudge and Protect yourself:
It’s all about being mindful of our thoughts and energies consistently and making modifications when we are ‘off’. Bring thoughts back to positive and uplifting thoughts, do DAILY Chakra clearings (many meditations on youtube for free on this), get out in nature to reconnect, take time for YOU and the same goes for your family!

Yoga Pose of the Month
Sun Salutation A

The traditional Sun Salutation A Sequence is the most common and widely used Vinyasa out there today. (Click on the image to the right to see larger in a higher resolution.) Literally translated as “bow to the sun”. This sequence is great if you have low energy or poor circulation. As yoga teachers we will build off of this sequence into more dynamic or complex sequences to focus on certain areas of the body for our goals in each individual class. As with all Vinyasa flows, each time you flow through this sequence, synchronize your breath with your movements.
Even the most experienced Yogi and Yogini have difficulty with some of the poses held in the Sun Salutation. You may modify this sequence, for example, by placing the knees down on the mat for Chaturanga and Runners Lunge (low lunge) or skipping Chaturanga completely if you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This sequence is great for warming up the entire body, as well as strengthening and stretching. It is recommended to we practice at least six rounds of the Sun Salutation daily, preferably in the morning when we are more energized.
“One of the means of honoring the sun is through the dynamic asana sequence Surya Namaskar (better known as Sun Salutation). The Sanskrit word namaskar stems from namas, which means “to bow to” or “to adore.” (The familiar phrase we use to close our yoga classes, namaste — te means “you” — also comes from this root.) Each Sun Salutation begins and ends with the joined-hands mudra (gesture) touched to the heart. This placement is no accident; only the heart can know the truth.” ~ Yogajournal.com

1. To begin, stand in Tadasana (Mountain Pose) with Anjali Mudra contemplating the sun or light of awareness in your heart. Distribute your weight evenly over both feet. Establish a slow, steady rhythm for your breath. Find your center.
2. Next, inhale and stretch your arms out to the side and overhead into Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Salute). Reach your heart and arms to the heavens, sending your greeting to the sun.
3. As you exhale, hollow out your belly and fold into Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend), connecting down into the earth. Keep your legs firmly engaged.
4. Exhale, step right foot back, Runners Lunge. Left knee directly over the left ankle, back leg straight, toes curled under. Firm thighs and glutes, extend from rear heel to crown.
5. Exhale and step left foot back behind you into Plank Pose. Your wrists should be flat on the floor, shoulder-distance apart, and your feet should be at hip distance. Back is straight like a board, wrists, elbows, shoulders in alignment. Firm glutes and press into the palms, heels and crown. Take a full breath in as you lengthen through your spine.
6. Exhale and lower into Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose) (or modified Chaturanga Dandasana by placing knees down first), keeping your legs straight and pushing back into your heels or bringing your knees to the floor. Elbows are in towards the body and sternum is between the thumbs. Build heat in the center of your body as you hold this challenging posture.
7. Inhale and carve your chest forward into Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward-Facing Dog), directing that energy out from your heart. Pull your shoulders back and open your collarbones. Engage your legs but relax your gluteal muscles.
8. Exhale and roll over the toes, coming into Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-Facing Dog Pose). Ground down through your hands and feet as you lengthen your spine. Remain here for five breaths.
9. Inhale, right foot runners lunge, Runners Lunge. Right knee directly over the right ankle, back leg straight, toes curled under. Firm thighs and glutes, extend from rear heel to crown.
10. Exhale back to Forward Fold (Uttanasana), surrendering into the fold.
11. Inhale, reverse swan dive up , reaching your arms out wide to your sides and coming to stand through a flat back. Feel a renewed sense of energy as you draw your arms overhead into Upward-Facing Dog (Urdhva Hastasana).
12. Exhale and return to Mountain (Tadasana), your home base, hands at your heart in Anjali Mudra. Remain here for a few breaths, feeling the movement of energy through your body, or continue on to your next salute.
