Presence through Movement. Maggie offers Yoga to everyone. Yoga brings peace and presence through movement. Currently, she is instructing Gentle Yoga at The Woods Yoga in Lincoln, RI and YMCA in Smithfield, RI (members only). See Maggie’s schedule for dates and times. Maggie has been studying Yoga since 2004 at the time of her significant weight loss of 90lbs. She is certified to teach Hatha & Vinyasa flow Yoga through Breathe. Joy. Yoga., a 200-hr. registered training with Yoga Alliance, as well as certified through Yogafit® and is Certified in Sadie Nardini’s Core Strength Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training. Maggie’s teaching style emphasizes vinyasa flow while waking up the body to come into a deep peaceful inner stillness. It is her desire to share with others the aliveness she feels as well as the tremendous health benefits from practicing yoga.
Yoga’s natural side effects are alleviating stress and anxiety while providing unlimited physical benefits to the body including shedding those unwanted pounds. Yoga’s goal is to assist you in aligning with the true essence that you are. Along the way you will notice more peace and a calm that comes from within in any situation. You realize you are living yoga every moment of your life.

Insurance Coverage, Health Care Reimbursement Accounts, and Annual Dollars
Check with your health care insurance provider to see if Yoga sessions are covered depending upon doctor recommendations and your health. If you are a Preferred Care Member, check to see if your plan includes the HealthDollars Program. If your health care insurance provider does not cover the cost of private Yoga sessions at this time*, check with your Health Care Reimbursement Account (Flexible Spending Account) provider. You may be able to use pre-tax dollars to pay for private Yoga sessions. It may be under the category of energy modalities and you may need to submit a physician’s statement.
*Alternative therapies are becoming recognized by health care insurance providers as part of a wellness program. If your provider currently does not provide coverage, continue to check back with your provider for changes in their policies. And always, include your suggestions of added services to your provider for their consideration.
