For the past several years, the energies have been tumultuous for many of us and right now we are feeling it all over. There’s a lot of anxiety and an icky energy on the surface of our bodies that needs release. The Earth, Air, Fire and Water elements are all doing their cleansing right now, with the 8.1 earthquake in Mexico, Hurricane Irma, Fire in western U.S., etc. The Earth is cleansing and clearing and ascending and assisting all of us to do the same! We are connected to the Earth. Our cells are a part of the eco system! As we lighten the load within us and release all that no longer serves us, we help the planet and all soul’s. And sometimes we experience the back up the weird energy we were feeling. My technical word for this energy is: ick! Just a lot of icky energy!
The theme I’ve noticed from several of us are questioning the very people or thing we usually trust. Questioning our very survival with what we’ve already processed even. Shaking up your core beliefs a bit and making you question yourself. Basically, questioning our very connection to Source (to see this at a higher level). And also because of the strange energies our “buttons” are being pushed even more so than usually. It’s okay as long as we learn to not react first but breathe and then come from a neutral place in our acceptance of the situation. It seems to be an upheaval of energy mixed with much of the same but what is being tested is our very faith in that which we are. The very core of our being is being tested to say, “Will you remain faithful in me even when some things on the outside are not totally what you expect or want? Will you remain trustworthy? Will you not react poorly or negatively to even the smallest challenges? Will you pick yourself up? Will you RISE ABOVE the rest? Can you live in the stillness within you during this upheaval?”
A beautiful quote I just received from Eckhart Tolle comes to me now: “Every time you create a gap in the stream of mind, the light of your consciousness grows stronger.”
If you had or have been feeling this way or experiencing any of this energy, know that you are not alone. It is a test that we will get through. It is prudent to stay in your faith! To stay with your trust that if “God brought you to it, then he will bring you through it.” To trust that everything is happening the way it is meant to for you. Stand strong! You can do this. You can do more than your mind tells you. Create a new edge in standing strong in the face of challenges. Everything is as it should be and have faith that the outcome is a beautiful and graceful for each of us. Flow now with grace through these strange energy patterns. We can stick together and shower love upon ourselves and those around us. How well can we reign in our immediate unnecessary reactions to the ick that comes our way? When something occurs, instead of reacting, step back and breathe. Breathe deeply. Then come to each situation from the witness state. Connect to the deeply peaceful stillness inside ourselves. Ask if there is anything that you can say or do in this very moment that will be of greater assistance to the highest good. If not, then let it go and be in the stillness you are connected to. If there is action that is to be taken, flow with grace with your action for the highest and best, good of all. RISE ABOVE the ick energy. Don’t allow it to grab a hold of you and drown you in old ego patterns long released from your being. Take this challenge and show the Universe you are residing in your peace with grace and taking beautiful action when necessary. This wave will ride itself out and you will find yourself on the Other Side tremendously overtaken with joy that you faced this challenge and won by simply being who you are from within.
Things that will assist you in staying centered are: Always being consciously aware of what is happening within you and around you. This means the ego can’t sneak in! Always take breathing breaks and if something challenges your emotions or ego, walk away and take several deep breaths before reacting. Meditate daily so you can get quiet and listen to the blissful stillness within you. Practice Yoga, Dancing, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and movements of any kind that rid residue and old energy from your body. Get outside. Even if it’s cold out. Even just for a few minutes. Especially when you are in the thick of these wonky energies. The air refreshes and renews. The sun uplifts and cleanses. Nature feeds your prana; your life force. Practice things that will remove the negative energy that is being brought to the surface (which, by the way, is eventually lifted right out and being transmuted). The ascension process is doing this for us right now. And we can assist by doing the above and move.
Practice energy healing if you are a practitioner. Receive treatments from others. Listen to uplifting music. Take a shower to clear your physical body and aura. And one of the best things that has been working for me this week (along with all of the above) is SHAKING ! That’s right, I said shaking. This is a beautiful Qi Gong method that Kim Engh shared during a seminar I attended that removes residue and that ick energy from your body. She said during her awakening process she was doing this daily or several times a day. And I’m finding that I’m doing this every day this week and it’s really helping me a lot. (See below for instructions!) We will get through this energy flux and be more evolved because of it. Let’s ride the waves and live in the flow of life. I feel the energy receding as I type this. We will have a little time to reflect before another amazing influx of energy – another opening – comes. This comes in waves, ebbs and flows.
HOW TO SHAKE
Start with Shaking your hands fast and furious. Do this for maybe 20-30 seconds or longer. Then your hand and arm and then hand, upper arm and shoulder. Then do the same on the other side. And move to your feet. Start with your left foot shaking vigorously. Then shake your foot, and knee. And then the whole leg. Move to the other side. Then bring your arms and legs and whole body into shaking up and down, slow at first and picking up the pace into almost jumping. Start shaking your head a bit too. Then get really into it and jump up and down, arms up high and shaking. Really let go. The Letting go is the most important part of this too. Let loose! Let it all go! Then stick your tongue way out and say, “Blaaaaah” to the air around you. Do this three time or however many times you want. Shake it, shake it, shake it! When you feel like you’ve really released and let go of a lot, stop. Observe your body. Stand straight and strong, arms and legs straight and activated in the yoga Mountain pose. Feel the beautiful numbness and tingling sensations in your body. Feel the aliveness that you are.
